What information do we hold?

As either a (former) client or contact of VKDJewels, we currently hold your data that consists of your name, address (private, professional or both, depending on what you have given us), phone numbers and e-mail address. We also hold a record of the objects you purchased from us and in which year(s) they were acquired. The information is held in our database and data files on our server, which is secure and only accessible to our authorised members of staff.

For the protection of our visitors and objects, we have security camera’s in our exhibition spaces, from which we keep the recorded images for a maximum period of one month.

What do we do with your details?

We use your information in three main ways:

         1. For distributing newsletters, event information and invitations,

            by us or an organisation acting specifically on our behalf.

         2. For contacting you concerning objects you have acquired or are in your collection

         3. As an archival record (digital or paper files) of names and objects,

            since our foundation in 1968


In no circumstance will we either add irrelevant information to your file or share your personal details with any other unrelated organisation or private individual without first seeking your permission.

Do you have the right to withdraw your consent?

You have the right to see a copy of your data and rectify any omissions and errors.

You have the right to ask us to delete your data or unsubscribe at any time to our mailings, publicity, e-bulletins or any other form of contact. Please contact us either by email or post to let us know if you explicitly do not wish to be listed on our archival record or to receive our mailings.
